"Turbo" wrappers. Chapter 9. #59. Motorcycles.

All bikes in one!

As I'm not specialist in motorcycles I've decided to put 'em all to one post (because I just cannot leave 'em unmentioned). So we could see all the bikes from Turbo wrappers here. I won't supply 'em with descriptions, cause I don't want to fill Internet with another boring bullshit from a person who isn't inside of a theme.

Honda VF1000R & BMW K100RS looked great in the beginning of 90. Specially in comparison with motorcycles of SU and Czech production well knows in USSR these days. 1 Liter 4 cylinder engines with around 100PS of power impressed me a lot. I've thought: "What the rider do with all these horses! How could one drive so powerful bikes!

I don't want to turn the wrapper. Originally it was oriented that the bike lies in horizontal position. So let it be like that. The wrapper wasn't the rarest, but naturally it was the strangest! As it seen all the techical characteristics are the same as them of previous bike. I think all the differents is in the side "bags" of RT version. And also some difference is in outer plastic. Both bikes had the same 4 cyl 1L engine.

This Suzuki is probably the most interesting and beautiful bike of all presented in Turbo wrappers. For me it was rare, because I've got it to the end of collectioning in very bad condition. But I loved it because I'd been hunting for it for a long time. And also the picture colors - green backgroung with black and red bike! And also the displaced cowl looked weird and nice for me.

Honda VF1000R, not VF1000F as said the wrapper. It could be seen at the bike's body. Looks very similar to wrapper #59 except the cowl that covers the engine. It's hard for me to say something about the wrapper and the motorcycle itself. I think you'd better read the Chapter #2 about Honda Interceptor. That article fully describes the feeling.

This wrapper was one of the very first. So this BMW was one of the first Motorcycles of the West I'd ever seen. Rather classic bike, 100% classic for today. Opposite BMW engine, no cowls, round fronlight. All is the same as Jawa or Izh. Even the characteristics weren't very surprising for us in early 90s. But I like the wrapper, may be because of fresh blue gradient at background.
